Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Contestants must be enrolled in grades K–12 at the time of entry and must reside in the U.S. at the time of their entry to be eligible. Contestants must be enrolled in a K12-powered school to participate. Parents or guardians of students under the age of 13 must submit entries on behalf of their student(s).
Prizes
JUDGING & VOTING:
At the conclusion of the Contest Entry Period, eligible entries will be made available for public voting from April 28th, 2025, through April 30th, 2025.
Voting Process: Students will judge entries based on three criteria:
• The winners will be determined by the total number of votes received through public voting.
• One winner will be selected from each grade band: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
CONTEST PRIZE:
Each winner will have their Minecraft build created and added to the K12 National Zones.
There are no physical or monetary prizes.
WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Winners will be announced in the K12 Zone on May 1, 2025, and will also receive an email notification. No special event or in-game reveal will be held.
